Si-Fi is a unique formulation of 30% potassium phosphite with silica and intended to combat turf stress and enhance turf hardiness while delivering low levels of N and K.

Phosphite: Phosphite (PO3) does not provide any nutritional phosphorous to the plant (hence the reason that it is not claimed in the analysis). However, phosphite does greatly increase plant vigor, health and resistance to stress. Regular applications of phosphite prior to and during periods of stress have shown to greatly reduce plant decline and susceptibility to stress and disease.

Silica: Grasses are luxury consumers of silica. When given a plant-available form of silica, grasses take the silica up through the root system and deposit the silica in plant tissue, strengthening the plant. Research indicates that when plants absorb silica, there is a defense mechanism-eliciting effect that primes plant genes for defense response expression, increasing resistance to various biotic and abiotic stressors.
