Rootein is designed to increase microbial activity in the soil profile, increase nutrient availability and enhance growth under stress.

Feed the Soil: Complex carbohydrates in Rootein feed the soil microbes that create soil aggregates and mineralize nutrients for plant use. Sand-based soil mixes combined with high fertilizer salts and pesticide residues can be low in microbial activity. The complex carbohydrates in Rootein can help restore balance and increase root zone activity.

Increase CEC: Humic and fulvic acids help to increase nutrient availability and soil CEC. Fulvic acid also enhances cell elongation and division and has biostimulant functionality.

The Right Kelp: The kelp extracts in Rootein contain phytohormones, antioxidants and alginates with stress mitigation and biostimulant properties. Unlike other products that use Ascophyllum Nodosum Kelp with high cytokinin to auxin ratios that favor shoot development, Rootein has a proprietary auxin-heavy kelp derived from Ecklonia Maxima Kelp, which favors root development over shoot development. This root stimulation activity makes the kelp in Rootein a better choice for applications to turfgrass.
