Flagship (14-1-14)

With Stabilized N and Minors

Flagship is was the first product created for the Keep it Green line. Flagship is formulated with nitrogen stabilization technology to protect the urea part of nitrogen from volatilizing in the atmosphere, enhancing the efficiency of uptake. Nitrogen is also delivered in the plant-available ammoniacal form.

Great for any foliar program: Flagship also uses potassium acetate for the potash source, assuring up to five times more available nutrient than other forms of potash (see chart below). The minors are true chelate EDTA forms to give programs some soil availability and longevity. Flagship also has an adjuvant added to enhance foliar uptake and ensure uniform and complete nutrient distribution! Flagship is a great base to any foliar program, especially when combined with the Keep it Green foliar minors package.

In the presence of urease, portions of urea-based fertilizers are lost to volatilization as the urea hydrolysis reaction occurs. Nitrogen stabilization reduces this volatilization, enhancing the efficiency of applied urea-based N.

A pie chart showing the percentage of potassium acetate and potassium thiosulfate

These charts show the tissue test result 3 days after application of potassium acetate and potassium thiosulfate. With the acetate form, 47% of applied K+ ended up in the leaf tissue. With the thiosulfate form, only 7% of applied K+ ended up in the leaf tissue.

Guaranteed Analysis:

  • Total nitrogen (N) 14.0%
  • 13.7% Urea nitrogen
  • 0.30% Ammoniacal nitrogen
  • Available phosphate (P2O5) 1.0%
  • Soluble potash (K2O) 4.0%
  • Boron (B) 0.02%
  • Iron (Fe) 0.5%

Derived from: urea, ammonium polyphosphate, potassium phosphate, potassium acetate, EDTA Iron, boric acid.

Also contains a non-plant food ingredient:

Urease Inhibitor N- (butyl) thiophosphoric triamide and nitrogen retardant dicyandiamide.
